About the role
About Loop
Loop is building the AI workforce for the restaurant industry. Our AI agents automate complex workflows across finance, operations and marketing—turning fragmented data into clear decisions and action. Built by our in-house team of AI engineers, strategists and industry experts, Loop gives restaurant brands the intelligence and execution power to grow revenue, protect margins and scale.
Backed by $14 million in Series A funding, Loop has grown in just four years to serve more than 14,000 restaurant locations, supporting billions of dollars in restaurant revenue across some of America’s most recognizable brands. We bring the capabilities of a sophisticated back office to every location—giving teams more time to focus on their food, their guests and their growth.
Behind Loop is a team of entrepreneurs, operators and AI engineers with experience at Uber, Google, Amazon and McKinsey, spanning technology, management consulting and investment banking. With offices in San Francisco, New York, Tampa and India, we’re building the intelligence layer behind the next generation of restaurant operations.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves building great sales teams and closing deals.
You’ll lead and develop a growing team of Account Executives, own their performance, improve how we sell and get directly involved in important opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who can coach an AE through a difficult deal in the morning, challenge the forecast in the afternoon, and identify exactly why our conversion rate needs to improve by the end of the day.
You won't inherit a finished sales machine. You'll help build it.
Responsibilities
-
Lead and develop a growing team of Account Executives, setting a high bar for performance, accountability and commercial execution.
-
Coach reps to become better sellers through regular 1:1s, call reviews, deal reviews, pipeline reviews and direct feedback.
-
Get into the deals. Join key customer calls, help navigate complex opportunities, strengthen multi-threading and support reps through objections, negotiation and close.
-
Own team performance against target, understanding not only whether we're hitting the number, but why.
-
Maintain exceptional pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy, ensuring CRM data reflects reality and risks are identified early.
-
Improve conversion and win rates by identifying weaknesses across discovery, qualification, demos, objection handling, follow-up, negotiation and closing.
-
Build and continuously improve our sales playbook, turning what our best sellers do into repeatable behaviours across the team.
-
Create structured onboarding and training that gets new Account Executives productive quickly and continues developing them after ramp.
-
Use sales data to diagnose performance, looking across pipeline generation, stage conversion, sales velocity, win rates, deal size and individual rep performance.
-
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and leadership to improve our GTM strategy and bring customer and competitive intelligence back into the business.
-
Help us hire exceptional salespeople as the team grows and maintain a consistently high talent bar.
Who You Are
-
4+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in SaaS or technology.
-
You have personally succeeded in a consultative sales environment and understand discovery, qualification, multi-threading, objection handling, negotiation and closing.
-
You have experience managing and coaching quota-carrying Account Executives, ideally in an early-stage or high-growth company.
-
You can point to measurable examples of improving rep or team performance — not simply managing an already successful team.
-
You're comfortable getting directly involved in deals and can quickly identify where an opportunity is strong, weak or being overestimated.
-
You understand pipeline management and forecasting and know how to use CRM data to make better decisions.
-
You're a strong coach who gives clear, specific and actionable feedback.
-
You combine high expectations with the ability to motivate, develop and retain excellent people.
-
You're commercially curious and want to understand our customers, competitors and market rather than simply manage a sales process.
-
You thrive in environments where things are changing quickly and not everything has been figured out yet.
-
You're hands-on, low ego and willing to get into the detail. At Loop, leadership means doing the work alongside the team when necessary.
Preferred Spikes
We'd be particularly interested if you have:
-
Experience scaling a sales team through a period of rapid growth.
-
Restaurant technology, hospitality technology or vertical SaaS experience.
-
Experience selling into multi-location or enterprise customers.
-
Built or significantly improved sales onboarding or enablement.
-
Introduced stronger forecasting, qualification or pipeline-management disciplines.
-
Experience building outbound as well as converting inbound demand.
-
Used AI and modern sales technology to improve prospecting, coaching or sales productivity.
