About the Role
Own the supply chain product area for a manufacturing software platform. You will connect factory operations and customer needs with technical product delivery, shaping tools that support complex industrial workflows.
What You'll Do
Set and drive the roadmap for procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
Visit customer sites and work with procurement and supply chain leaders to understand operational challenges.
Translate complex supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in partnership with engineering.
Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code where useful.
Coordinate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver features, support onboarding, and demonstrate customer value.
Review inventory metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to test assumptions and improve outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, manufacturing or supply chain operations, and software development or hands-on coding.
Experience taking software features from customer research through launch.
Strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.
Ability to create functional prototypes and write technical specifications for complex operational logic.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, ideally in advanced hardware such as aerospace, energy, robotics, or automotive.
Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems, MES, PLM, or AI-assisted prototyping tools.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
Strong cross-functional communication and influence across technical and customer-facing teams.
