About the role

About the Role

Join an AI and computing hardware team developing CMOS chips for probabilistic computing. As a Principal Analog/Mixed Signal Engineer, you will lead key circuit and architecture work across upcoming chip designs, helping translate new computing approaches into silicon.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design of analog and mixed-signal blocks, including ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, SerDes, oscillators, and dividers.

  • Own major portions of chip architecture and potentially serve as design lead for a planned chip.

  • Perform hands-on layout and design verification, including DRC, ERC, and LVS.

  • Collaborate with IC, systems, physics, and algorithms teams to develop silicon implementations.

  • Support lab testing and validation of fabricated chips using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

What We're Looking For

  • Six or more years of analog and mixed-signal IC design experience, with experience in circuit types such as PLLs, ADCs, or SerDes.

  • Strong CMOS circuit design skills and experience completing multiple tape-outs, including in FinFET or 28nm/65nm processes.

  • An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on circuits or IC design.

  • Proficiency with Cadence simulation, including PEX, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.

  • Hands-on layout experience and the ability to work across circuit types and practical design tasks in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience with circuits beyond compound semiconductors alone; Python or C experience is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
