About the role

About the Role

Join an AI-focused company modernizing legacy mainframe and COBOL systems as its first non-technical hire. You will build the sales pipeline and playbook, helping transition the business from founder-led sales to a repeatable enterprise sales motion.

What You'll Do

  • Build top-of-funnel pipeline through sourcing, prospecting, outbound campaigns, ideal customer profile research, and contact mapping.

  • Lead initial calls and discovery, and book demos, handling mid-market conversations directly while partnering with the CEO on large enterprise accounts.

  • Turn early founder-led sales practices into a repeatable sales playbook.

  • Advance opportunities toward signed pilots and contracts.

  • Select and set up sales tools, with the opportunity to take ownership of the full sales cycle over time.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to eight years of experience as an account executive selling technical B2B solutions to enterprise customers.

  • Full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, discovery, outbound campaigns, account research, and closing.

  • A track record of closing six- to seven-figure enterprise contracts and navigating long sales cycles.

  • Startup experience outside only large, highly structured technology companies.

  • Experience selling to financial services, insurance, manufacturing, or airline organizations is particularly relevant.

  • Familiarity with CRM, prospecting tools, AI sales tools, and sales automation; experience with Attio is relevant.

  • Background in sales, rather than exclusively in customer success or account management.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $120,000 to $180,000 annually, with uncapped commission. Visa sponsorship is available.
