  • Manage litigation from case strategy through court appearances, advocacy, and resolution.

  • Work with bankruptcy partners and the broader commercial litigation team to deliver coordinated client representation.

  • Steward existing client relationships and support the transition of an established practice.

  • Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and the practice's long-term leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Eight to fifteen or more years of experience, including substantial debtor-side bankruptcy litigation.

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York bar.

  • Experience with debtor representation in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, adversary proceedings, contested matters, bankruptcy court hearings, and the Bankruptcy Code and Rules.

  • Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, ECF, and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage matters autonomously, work collaboratively, and maintain client relationships through a practice transition.

  • A portable bankruptcy practice and a record of client origination are valued.
